This clock is called a "balloon" style clock due to its shape looking similar to a hot air balloon. It was made in Germany and has an 8 day time and strike pendulum works probably made around the turn of the 1900's.
The face is metal, the glass in the door is a bowed glass and is beveled on the edges.
