This is a fairly large mantle clock made in Germany, circa 1890's. It has a large westminster chime pendulum movement. The door has beveled glass and the wood seems to be walnut. It has its original weathered finish.
Side view of the clock.
The door is open here to show the engraved dial detail. The dial also has two small dials at the top of the face. the dial on the left is to silence the clock when desired, the dial on the right is to change the rate of time keeping of the clock, fast or slow.
